How to strip & seal? – we will use a special amtico floor stripper to remove the old sealant. When the floor is clean and dry we will apply 3 coats of satin amtico sealant. Your floor will look like new. You should have your floors buffed once or twice per year just to bring up the sealant natural polish.
Can you do it yourself? – well, if you have a slow speed buffer, pads, wet hoover, green pads, mop, bucket, flat mop, tape, high speed buffer and the knowledge to do it , then you can do it yourself. But we would highly recommend that you use a professional amtico floor cleaning company. Amtico floors can cost up to 120€ per square meter to supply and fit and if the sealant is not done right it can make your floors look messy and tired, the opposite of amtico floors.
