About Format.ie Web Design Format.ie is based on the very beautiful north west coast of Sligo under the Benwiskin mountain with the famous and legendary Gleniff Horseshoe behind us. We are a small team with over 28 years' combined web related experience.

Jon - Designer, Developer

Jon grew up in Mullaghmore on the north west coast of Sligo and first worked with 'the web' in '1995' as an in house trainer with Unilever Plc at their head office in London.

Training staff on the use of Netscape version 2, led to training users on NetObjects Team Fusion for maintaining intranet sites. Since then Jon has worked on web related projects in Ireland, the UK, France and Holland.


Lisa - SEO, Marketing

Lisa started her career in London for ITV working as an Assistant to a Lobbyist using her French & German and often travelling abroad to lobby European parliamentarians in Brussels and Strasbourg.

She had a brief spell at INSEAD Paris as a fundraiser and then moved back to London where she worked in recruitment for 20 years encompassing marketing, PR and business development for law firms, commercial businesses and human resources departments. Moving to Ireland meant changing her work focus to web design and no better trainer than her husband Jon.
