Feldenkrais is a gentle, effective bodywork method that can help people of all ages & physical conditions to eliminate stressful habits of muscular tension and move with greater ease, grace and power.
Feldenkrais movement classes and individual hands-on sessions use 2 ways of learning:
- Movement: Simple movement sequences carried out with guided attention are used to develop more accurate body awareness and restore full use of 'forgotten' areas of the body.
- Awareness: Training in the practice of mindfulness cultivates practical resources that immediately transforms the way we interact with ourselves, others, and the surrounding environment.
